  • Guidance is provided for obtaining necessary travel documents, vaccinations, and travel insurance.
  1. Orientation and Training:
  • Upon arrival in Uganda, participants undergo an orientation session conducted by Borderless Frontier Africa staff and local agricultural experts.
  • Training sessions cover topics such as agricultural business models, market analysis, value chain development, and project management.
  1. Agricultural Enterprise Placement:
  • Participants are placed with agricultural enterprises, farms, or agribusiness organizations based on their interests, skills, and program duration.
  • Responsibilities may include:
    • Assisting with farm management activities such as crop production, livestock management, and agroforestry practices.
    • Conducting market research, feasibility studies, and value chain analyses to identify business opportunities and market trends.
    • Supporting business planning, financial analysis, and investment proposals for agricultural enterprises.
    • Participating in field trials, demonstrations, and technology transfer activities related to agricultural innovation and sustainability.
  1. Business Development and Marketing:
  • Participants work with agricultural businesses to develop marketing strategies, branding initiatives, and distribution channels for agricultural products.
